Anna Solding is a writer, editor and publisher. She has a Masters and a PhD in Creative Writing from The University of Adelaide and is the co-founder of two literary magazines. She is the founder and managing director of Midnight Sun Publishing, an Adelaide based publishing company. Her first book, a ‘novel constellation’ The Hum of Concrete was shortlisted for several awards. Together with fellow publisher Caroline Wood from Margaret River Press, Anna co-founded the Australian Short Story Festival in 2016. As the co-director of this exciting short story festival, Anna is constantly on the look-out for new voices that extend and subvert the telling of short stories.
